Field Location
Directions to the Shackleford Ridge fields:
Drive up Signal Mountain
via the main road, Signal Mountain Blvd., route 127. After the "Welcome to
Signal Mountain" sign but before the traffic light, take the first left - it is
directly across from the CVS entrance. This will become Maryland Avenue
and then it becomes James Blvd. after bending around to the right. Turn
left onto Timberlinks Drive, just before the Golf Club. Stay on
Timberlinks for about 3 miles. It will bend to the right and become
Shackleford Ridge Road. Turn left onto Sam Powell Drive next to Nolan
Elementary School and follow this road to the end.

Inclement Weather Procedure
Field closure notifications are recorded on the SMSL
telephone line, 517-1700.
When weather threatens at the fields, the referees have the
final authority and may cancel games at any time, at their
discretion.
*Note to Coaches: If the rain line, 517-1700, does
not say "The fields are closed.", you may still wish to cancel your practice if
the weather is not conducive to practicing.
**Note to Coaches & parents: When practicing, use
your best judgment regarding weather. Our fields have been struck several
times by lightening, so if you hear thunder please vacate the fields.
