The Signal Mountain Storm ‘96 girls’ select soccer team competed in the U13 girls Gold division of the Adidas Cup of Champions in Goodlettsville during the weekend of April 25th and 26th. Storm ‘96 recorded a 3-3 tie versus Impact Brentwood 96 Girls Premier, a 1-0 loss to Tenessee United Red and a 1-0 win versus TNFC 96 Blue to reach the division final. The final was an entertaining game, with Storm 96 finally losing 6-3 in their second game against Tennessee United Red. Playing in the highest tournament division Storm ‘96 enjoyed strong competition in a fun weekend of soccer and were pleased to finish as tournament finalists.
