Signal Mountain Storm 96 girls’ Finalists in

 Adidas Cup of Champions soccer tournament

 The Signal Mountain Storm 96 girls’ select soccer team competed in the U12 girls Gold division of the Adidas Cup of Champions in Nashville during the weekend of April 26th and 27th. Five teams participated in the Gold division, with eight teams competing in the Silver division. Storm 96 recorded wins versus Lady Impact USA Nike 6 from Nashville, Sting 96 from Brentwood and Lady Arsenal from Huntsville, AL. Their only loss was against Tennessee United Red from Nashville (a Division 2 team), the eventual winners of the Gold division. Playing in the highest tournament division Storm 96 enjoyed a weekend of exciting soccer against strong competition and were pleased to finish as tournament finalists.
