The Signal Mountain Storm 96 girls’ select soccer team competed on May 27th and 28th in the Redoubt Invitational Soccer tournament in Chattanooga. Storm 96 split the team into two, with Storm 96 Black playing in the U10 gold division and Storm 96 White playing in the silver division. Storm 96 White had a fun tournament, reaching the semi-final of their division. In preliminary games, Storm 96 Black recorded wins against the Chattanooga Assault (3-0) and Blount Lady Hammers (1-0). The final was a close, competitive game with Storm narrowly losing 2-1 to the Harpeth Hurricanes. The Storm 96 Black team is shown with their finalist plaques.
