Are you interested in being a referee? Entry-level (grade 8) referee class: July 25-27, 1675 Shelby Circle, Hixson; 6-10 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, 1:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday; $80. Must register by contacting Gary Welch at redcard@vei.net or 842-0335.

The Signal Mountain Soccer League is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of youth soccer. Our philosophy is to provide an atmosphere of good sportsmanship within which the players and teams can compete, learn, and enjoy the game of soccer.

The SMSL recognizes that participation in youth sports, when practiced and played within a healthy and nurturing environment, can teach life lessons that participants will carry with them throughout adulthood.

Championship effort, winning attitudes, and fair play will be emphasized to coaches, players, and parents. With this philosophy, all players and teams will learn, grow, and succeed.
